About The Tour
This one-hour tour is a guided walk through the Edible Forest. You’ll explore the food forest with an experienced guide, learn how the system was created, how it’s maintained, and discover a wide range of edible and medicinal plants along the way. Tastings are included during the walk.
The tour finishes in our nursery and garden shop, where you can purchase plants propagated from the Edible Forest, along with small-batch preserves made onsite.
Tours change with the seasons, so there’s always something new to see and learn.
If you’d like a deeper dive into the permaculture design principles behind the forest, we recommend booking a Design Tour, which runs for up to two hours.

The Edible Forest is such a great place to enjoy in the Yarra Valley. The Team are great at educating on all the seasonal produce and it’s even used in Yarra Valley Estate menus at weddings and events.
