Tour Times

Public tours run every Friday and Saturday at 10am and take about an hour. Each tour focuses on what’s growing now: edible and medicinal plants, seasonal gardening and the permaculture principles behind the forest, with tastings along the way.

Groups of 10 or more can arrange a private tour, and garden clubs can visit on weekdays, with morning tea available. See all tours.

How To Find Us

The Edible Forest is located on the grounds of Yarra Valley Estate in the Yarra Valley.

  • Directions: Follow the signs for Yarra Valley Estate along the Melba Highway. Both Yarra Valley Estate and Edible Forest are easily found on Google Maps and Apple Maps.
  • Parking: Free parking is available on-site.
