Winter 2026 Update
As the forest enters its winter dormancy, June will be the final month for regular online tour bookings.
During July and August, tours will be available by appointment only through our office on 03 5965 2397.
Winter tours focus more on seasonal gardening, edible and medicinal plants, soil health and how the forest changes through the colder months, with fewer fruit tastings available during this period.

About The Tour
This one-hour tour is a guided walk through the Edible Forest. You’ll explore the food forest with an experienced guide, learn how the system was created, how it’s maintained, and discover a wide range of edible and medicinal plants along the way. Tastings are included during the walk.
The tour finishes in our nursery and garden shop, where you can purchase plants propagated from the Edible Forest, along with small-batch preserves made onsite.
Tours change with the seasons, so there’s always something new to see and learn.
If you’d like a deeper dive into the permaculture design principles behind the forest, we recommend booking a Design Tour, which runs for up to two hours.
